New Year, new defence against water damage! 💦

It appears that the borderline to the diesel Island has been rerouted.

Step 2 - Follow where the lines go

Pilot Shut Off

When you come up the stairs, you'll have to veer to the left, walk all the way back to the very back corner where the water softeners are.


To locate the isolation valve for the building.


Once you arrive at the water heaters and the water softeners, the main shutoff is located directly behind one of the water heaters.

Step 3 - Find the main shutoff valve

This yellow valve is your main water shut off. To shut the water off, you pull the handle down.


Until it's perpendicular with the pipe.

Step 4 - Shutting off the Water

After shutting the valve to turn the water off, you will want to turn this pump off, otherwise, it can cause overheating and burn the motor up on the pump.

Step 5 - Turn off the pump
